かざし温泉
This is a semi-rural day use hot spring facility popular with the elderly looking to keep healthy. On offer here is a cold radon mineral spring that is served up cold and heated. Indoor is a long bath with a small cold water section. They have some lovely jets and bubbles, but I was most happy with the electric bath that was positioned so it was easy for me to get my legs massaged after taking a long walk to get here. Outdoors was a nice shallow bath with a TV that I spent some time enjoying. There is also a dry sauna available. The women’s and men’s baths are located on different floors with the men on the second and women on the third. I can only assume, but I can guess that the view from the women’s outdoor bath is quite nice from that position.
Accessible by a short walk from the nearby Kotoden station.
Recommended and in an area with not many other options.
