The cut off for the trail from the forest road is a bit hard to find.

There's a fork in the trail here, cross the stream and follow the chain link up the hill.

This park is outstanding and very well maintained. Walking around here would be a great day with the family.

Interesting geology all around the trail here. It smelt like pine. Good stuff!

From here or so the trail got a lot less used and the spider webs got more and more annoying.

This section of the trail looks rarely used, but there are some improvements. Again, TOO MANY SPIDER WEBS.

So I'm 100% soaked with sweat and my boots are growing leaves.

I rarely used my pole for support, it was my spiderweb destruction tool. It took me a few good minutes to was all that off.

Thanks to the lovely Hazuhachiman shrine where I was able to rest till the bus came.

That second half of the hike I probably won't do again, but the first half up to Ominegatake was outstanding.
